Working Principle

Installation Guide

  1. If a meter is replaced or a sensor is added to an already installed meter, it’s necessary to use an activation magnet to start up the sensor. The magnet should be moved from the far side to the sensor, and then across the front of the sensor. A blink from the sensor LED light indicates successful activation.

  2. Further, the sensor must be configured on The Things Network (TTN). This requires the user to input the device EUI, application EUI, and the app key on the TTN console to link the sensor to the network.

  3. Once all the required fields have been filled out and saved on the TTN platform, the TTN Smart Sensor is ready to function.

LoRaWAN Details

The TTN Smart Sensor utilizes LoRaWAN connectivity, a low power, secure, and long-ranged telecommunication protocol best suited for the transmission of small packets of data, which makes it ideal for IoT applications.
